Project Avance
Project Avance was developed to increase student success, enrollment, and retention through experiential learning. Our mission is clear: to provide unwavering support, cultivate valuable partnerships, and enrich the learning journey.
We offer a variety of programs, such as Summer Bridge Camps, Lunch and Learns, Career Fairs, and off-campus Career Tours, where students can explore career paths beyond the classroom. Through these initiatives, we aim to inspire and empower our students to explore their aspirations, connect with industry leaders, and embrace a future filled with opportunities.
Project Avance Summer Bridge ProgramThe Project Avance Summer Bridge program is a 2-week experience for incoming STEM freshmen. It offers classes in chemistry and biology, campus tours, advising, faculty and industry talks, hands-on activities, peer advisor engagement, and local industry tours to explore STEM careers. |
